New GJ attraction puts problems solving skills to the test

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.– Locked doors, hidden clues, and a race against the clock, it may sound like something out of a horror movie, but it’s actually one of Grand Junction’s newest attractions: the Epic Escape Game.
The concept is simple you and your team have 60 minutes to solves puzzles, and find clues before your time is up.
“It was interactive so you have to communicate with your siblings, your wife, your husband, boyfriend girlfriend, coworkers,” said owner Larry White.
“How the puzzles work is they’re going to find a grouping of numbers and then maybe somewhere else they find colors that have those numbers, and then maybe somewhere else they find something that gives them an order to the numbers and colors, and that’s their code. So sometimes they will have to find several pieces to get a code, to open a lock, that will give them more clues and confuse them even more,” said Kell.
